Just wondering if anybody knew any suitable piercings i could get which would avoid disturbing my hearing aids? I have the big over the ear aids by the way!

how does it happen? ok so i am a very nuerotic person and when i think about something to much i feel like i have it or it’s happening to me. so i thinking last night while iw as trying to sleep what i would do if i ever went deaf. then a few minutes later my right ear spasmed a little and then i couldm’t hear great (you know when you need your ear to pop) so anyways i was thinking about it again tonight and then my left ear did it.is it just nerves from me thinking about it ? my ears feel funny.. from me thinking it could it actually happen ? yes im apparently crazy i know lol. i just scared about these things.

My friend has to get hearing aids. His hearing was going but after a couple “blasts” at work (he’s in the military) he now has to have them in both ears due to severe hearing loss. He’s in a bit of a funk - feeling old AND the fact he’s a pilot so…. he will be loosing his wings. He is stationed a few thousand miles away so it’s not like I can physically DO anything….

if you were in this scenario…. what would help you come to grips with this new reality?
