6th grade is typically an age when children of different abilities start becoming more self-conscious, and don’t want to draw unnecessary attention to themselves.
Ask her what she feels comfortable with… if she thinks that she is capable of doing just as well in school without her hearing aids, or with only having them in during certain classes, let her give that a try.
She is advocating for herself, and that is a great thing.
Just let her know that if her grades decline, that you both are going to have to come up with a different solution.
Good luck.

Maybe she could have some which are less noticeable? Or less uncomfortable?

Really, though, you just need to help her with her self-confidence. My daughter had a deaf child in her class for a while, and used to tell anyone who was mean to her that Leah needed glasses for her ears just like some of the other kids had glasses for their eyes.

Maybe get her hearing restested to ensure the aids are effective, or that the mould is not bothering here bcs too small or wax buildup.
There are some very stylish (and girly) earmoulds an hearing aids out there. Maybe flasshing them up a bit will make her less inhibited to wear them.
Also, does yr daughter use sign language? Maybe she is going thru the identity crisis deaf kids do where they are aligning themselves more with Deaf culture and the Deaf community.
Perhpas if you found a young Deaf adult or a teen who could be a buddy to yr daughter.

well I wear hearing aids on a daily basis and also can hear BG noise without them on but no speech so I also starting to lip read very well.

try boosting up her self confindence by putting her in fun activities!

Does she have a sign language interpreter in class? Does her teacher use an FM system?

Have you talked to your daughter and asked her if she feels the hearing aids help her? Have you asked her without prejudgment what the real reason she doesn’t want to use them is? Have you asked her if they amplify the background noises so much that it distracts her?

It is possible that she doesn’t like them and doesn’t want to use them. Why force her to if she doesn’t want them. If she is fluent in ASL and has an interpreter, leave her be. She can be as successful without them as she is with them. I know many educated Deaf adults that use no hearing aids…
