These are made specifically for you and will only fit in your ear one way. You just put one in your ear and if it doesn’t fit, that means it goes in your other ear. This advice is based on hearing aids that have been molded just for your ear canal.

Well if you put one in and it only goes in upside down or backwards, then that’s the wrong ear.

Look for a red dot for the right ear and a blue dot for your left ear

If they’re BTEs (behind the ear hearing aids)

Hold the hearing aid to your ear with the mold in front. If the tip of the mold where the sound comes out is pointing to your ear that is the correct side

Usually red is the right ear, and blue is the left.

If they are BTEs and the earmolds are on them, it should be pretty easy to tell which is which as well.
