Since my mum has been wearing hearing aids, she has heard sounds in the house which point to the paranoramal?

She is compus mentus, and in all other senses ‘normal’, and of sound mind. Oddly, she often reports hearing people coming in through the front door to the extent that expects to see one of us appear or has called out to greet us, when there has been no one else in the house. We live in a bungalow, so I think that limits the chances of family members coming and going unnoticed.
My theory, as I am interested in the paranormal, is that her augmented hearing (i.e the hearing aids) is perhaps acting like a device sometimes referred to by paranormal investigators as ‘the big ear’. It works similarly to hearing aids, by amplifying ambient noise in the room to a level which extends far beyond what we can percieve with our human ears. I’ve seen some fairly alarming stuff picked up by such devices.
Amongst other sounds, she occasionally reports hearing cat noises - which we all asscociate with our beloved 24 year-old, now deceased *****! She lived 4 years in this house after we moved, and we still miss her much.
I myself have thought sometimes that I’ve heard the odd cat noise; the little trills of acknowledgment they make when you walk in to a room, and suchlike.
Very interested to hear the opinions of anyone who is willing to take this objectively seriously. I realise it sounds a little far-out, perhaps!

Ghosts like to taunt people with aids. Turn the volume down and they’ll go away

I would check and see if there is some kind of fault with the hearing aid that would make her hear noises. If there’s nothing wrong with it, and the noises continue, use some sage to smudge the house. It should work.

Not far fetched at all…totally possible that she is hearing such things.
Any device that has amplification capabilities such as hearing aids can pick up the paranormal type sounds. This is relevant. If you want to hear what she does get a digital recorder.
Good luck.

I don’t what you are using as hearing devices. You have got a channel going there in the hearing or device. Lucky you. You got it right. You can take a recorder and get voices on it too. I am very excited to hear this. As for your cat, it is known as memory imprints. That is why you can see it? Don’t be scared, they usually don’t hurt. They try to talk to you. That is all. Keep your green book of your journal and what you saw. Please put dates, time and what happen, Also put a reason why you think it happen. When you move out of your home, all the happenings will disappear.
