Good phone for hard of hearing person who wears hearing aids?
catdog asked:
I am hard of hearing and wear hearing aids. I’ve tried various phones and with none of them can I hear very well. My work lets out space in it’s centre and one of the organisations renting space is a deaf communication service and so they have the RNID catalogue which I’ve looked through. They all seem pretty similar though and I have no idea which one will be the best for me. I’m only in my late twenties so a modern looking phone would be good. Has anyone who is a hearing aid user bought a phone from RNID or elsewhere which they have found really useful or have you phone it easier to buy a normal phone and then buy an amplifier? If so have you any recommendations? Thanks.

I’d recommend the Big Button phone. its hearing aid compatible and has speech amplification and a choice of ringtones.
its about £25 to buy
