Can I wear my hearing aid to school if I have an ear infection?

I had an ear infection last week on friday, but my ear still hurts.
I didn’t wear my hearing aid to school on friday, mon. and today which caused me to have a hard time hearing.

Try to avoid it if u can. Sticking anything in your ear with an infection can only make things worse

It would be best to not wear it if possible
if you are having any drainage the hearing aid can be damaged
