It’s good to keep a positive attitude, but wishful thinking will not replace modern medicine.

It’s as good as any placebo.

We should definitely pray for God’s healing touch, but we also shouldn’t neglect the perfectly good brain that God gave us and see doctors when the situation necessitates it.

Its as effective as it is for any other condition, ie not at all.

I feel so bad for all the ppl thinking their being healed.
I can’t imagine the devastation they must feel, when they realize they are still sick.

And all for what?
To line the pockets of some greedy piece of crap “faith healer”.

Edit:
Actually, this is the one I wanted to post, but it took me awhile to find it.

their was never a more faith filled woman than my mom.. she died of liver cancer in 1978 after YEARS of illness. She never saw me marry she never saw her grandkids.. she even went to a “healer”.

Drove me crazy. As an atheist I knew these people couldn’t help her.. at least they didn’t take money.

1978 and I still miss her every single day of my life.

my aunt had cancer… no treatments would work… doctors gave her a few more months to live… my whole family prayed for some more time… at the end of those months she felt great… as if she never had the cancer… the cancer had shrunk and stayed dormant for 2 years before it spread again…. i believe that god planned to take her the first time…but as we change our minds i believe he changed his…she not once cursed god or even complained about it because she knew it was all apart of his plan…prayer is the ultimate cure

Have you ever seen a Christian amputee? Nope! That’s because God grows limbs back, if you accept Jesus as your personal savior!

Oh, wait…

All committed Christians should rely entirely on faith healing when they become ill I can give you Benny Hinn’s contact number if you need it. He works miracles every day. Amputees, however, need not apply.

My wife was healed through prayer of many years of a medically diagnosed infertility condition. Since then she bore us four healthy children. Yes, spiritual healing or “divine healing” is real.

GOD IS LOVE @ 7:24 pm

my mom had some problem in her stomach(I guess its a gall bladder, I’m not very sure) and then doctors said that its has to get operated and something(I’m not sure about scientific terms) has to be removed and they prescribed everything and she’s supposed to undergo an operation within 2days, all necessary arrangements has been made, and a day before I guess, she went to a man of GOD and showed her reports, HE Prayed on the spot and said that She don’t have to go through any operation but she went to hospital on that day and for her astonishment, doctors said the same thing.

Also I recently met with an accident and that’s such a BIG MIRACLE that even doctors confessed that “GOD WAS VERY COURTEOUS TO YOU” they admitted that its not their effort which made me well and that’s a big story, if you want to listen you can write to me, If I write here, it will be a lengthy passage
