Has anyone’s pet experienced deafness after being injected with Gentamicin for a canine ear infection?

My labrador received an injection of Gentamicin and became totally deaf within the first few days. That was 3 months ago, and a little of her hearing has returned. Our vet said “oops, this happens sometimes” — If your dog has experienced something like this, please let me know. And please advise as to what course of action I should now take.

research it! ..legal action if you didn’t sign a waiver….. not sure you’ll get much…
