A question for women, would hearing aids put you of?

2yrs ago I lost half my hearing, I now have aids in both ears. Before I went deaf I had an active social life but now feel worried approaching women. I’m an average bloke had a few girlfriends and so on. If a man wearing hearing aids aprroached you would you be put off? Please be honest, sympathy is nice but won’t answer my question.

I wouldn’t be put off, as long as he didn’t turn them off when he didn’t like what I was saying….

I wouldn’t be turned off by hearing aids. They’re the same as having glasses.

Wouldn’t bother me…. if some one was put off…then they are superficial and shallow..and you don’t need that. As we get older, we all have various health issues…some you can see and some you can’t….we all need to be accepting.

Maybe a little. But, I am an understanding woman and if your personality just took over then you should be alright. In my book, the personality far outweighs anything else about a person…..Looks, smarts, acheivements, money, missing limbs, hearing aids, whatever.

my brother is hard of hearing and also wears aids, so i feel for you! i personally would not be put off by this, especially if i like the person. i know it probably seems a little intimidating but the more comfortable you are with yourself, the more willing a stranger will be to talk/accept you for who you are! good luck!
