there is nothing wrong with wearing hearing aids or having a speech impediment! I know girls that love a guy with one because they think it is sweet and stuff! I’m sure you will find one soon! Any girl who won’t date you because of it is not worth your time! I definitely would not turn someone down just because they wore hearing aids!

Duh. Of course, why not?! He’s good looking and slim and well dressed and has a good job. To not date him just because he has hearing aids and a slight speech impairment is the girl’s loss. But it also depends on his personality and mindset, those are important for me.

But I might be a little biased, since I’m physically disabled (my right leg’s like 1.5 inches shorter than my left so I use crutches) and would want a guy who’d understand me more.

I would, but that might be because I wear hearing aids and go through the same thing. My boyfriend doesn’t have a problem with it and I don’t see why any girl would either. Have you limited your standards not to date girls with contacts/glasses? Basically the same thing.

why wouldnt a woman? the answer is yes….everyone has some kind of imperfection…we wouldnt b human beings if we didnt….the important things that attract a woman is the guys personality, his character and how he would treat a woman…if u are a nice guy then u wouldnt have any trouble getting a date despite the fact of the hearing aids and speech impediment..

yes, i would date a guy with hearing aids. that would not matter to me at all. be confident in yourself. most any female that you would want to be with would not find hearing aids an issue at all. i have a friend who has hearing aids and i don’t even think about him having them. he is a cool guy.

Sure I would. At least you have the hearing aids to try and hear people. Most men have good hearing and spend most of their time trying to pretend they haven’t heard what we said!

Of course i would! cant blame a guy for hearing techncallities! i have bad hearing too i cant help it and neither can u the right girl will come along and u two will be happy together!

Well, I personally think you are too young for me. But let me give you a piece of my mind, since you’ve raised the question.

First, let me start by saying that it has got to be very frustrating and you must be having “inferiority complexes” because of it.

David, we all go through life and unfortunately, have different types of struggles. Some people, although they have both ears at full capacity, still don’t really tune in to what people say. Communication is a huge thing. It is very important to be able to speak with someone and receive feedback that is reenforcing and positive from someone.

You have a challenge. Don’t let it stop you from attempting to form bonds in a relationship with a woman. It may be that you have to try harder, but try to relax and put forth your best self. Be well groomed, well mannered, wink and eye, use your smile….be courteous….take ;your time to see what opportunities you have with the ladies and be a charmer….
Your will eventually find one that has a heart of gold and remember that you also must not be bitter about your condition and take it out on the ladies….

So, be sweet, be yourself, take it easy….on yourself and on others….and…eventually you will find someone who may have a type of impairment herself….maybe in another area and see you as an equal?…….

ps pass the word around the ward about your wanting a girlf friend and to talk about your positive traits, and maybe even try a website….but be careful there and use lots of caution….;)
