Is there a site of Charity that could help me purchase new hearing aids?

At 4 thousand a piece, I just cannot afford it. I have insurances but none to cover ears. That hardly seems fair.

I’m not sure about the details of your situation, but the Lions Club works with vision & hearing. If they cannot help they may be able to steer you to an organization that can! Google for the lions in your state. Good Luck!

Vocational Rehabilitation in your state will. To qualify in my state you have to need aids in both ears with at least 41% loss in your best ear or have a Speech recognition problem. It is also income based so you may have to pay a percent of the cost. Get an audiogram done and make an appointment at your voc rehab office. We do not pay for audiograms.

Try the hearing loss assn of America, they may be able to link you into some kind of resources to help
crazy how insurance is.. i lost my hearing in Iraq, my military insurance won’t cover it but thankfully the VA does…
