Ask Tracy, she has the answer.. @ 11:08 pm

There are some organizations that provide refurbished hearing aids for patients that qualify for assistance. I’m here in California, and it may be different in Florida, but I’m almost certain that there are programs everywhere for these situations. The catch is — these patients must show that they are in desperate need of this help, in terms of both hearing loss and financial stability.

Another option is financing. This is especially helpful for patients who are still working and do not have the full amount for hearing aids at the time that they need them. Your dad’s Hearing Healthcare Provider may have this available. Some companies offer a financing option that is LIKE a credit card, but can only be used for medical purposes. Some plans offer 0% interest, and can lower monthly payments significantly.

The best place to ask about this is the office your dad is visiting.

Vocational Rehabiliation, perhaps? Our local V.R. purchased my latest hearing aid so that I could hear better for my job. I don’t know how the FL. VR works, but you could check into it.
