You can get in ear hearing aids. as an extra point, learn how to spell too.

you could get contact lenses and grow your hair to cover the Hearing aids

Ask your doctor about getting glasses with built in hearing aids. I know it’s embarrassing to look different from everyone else. I grew up the fat kid with glasses whose mother dressed her funny. It stinks.
However, in the years since hearing aids were invented, they now have hearing aids so tiny that you don’t even know someone is wearing them unless you get really close and look inside their ears, or unless they take them out. They custom fit them to your ear canal so you don’t even really feel them. This is going to be SO much easier for you than being the fat kid in glasses with funny looking clothes was for me! If you don’t tell anyone you’re wearing hearing aids, they really don’t have to know.
One caution, however. Make sure you keep your ears and your hearing aids very, VERY clean and wash your hands with soap before handling the hearing aids. A dirty hearing aid can cause an ear infection which can cost you your hearing.
Just in case your hearing problem is progressing toward profound deafness, it would be a good idea to learn sign language while you can still hear. My brother started out with hearing aids at 11. He is now 46 and is profoundly deaf. He not only inherited Grammy’s bad hearing, he also was none too clean in his habits. He had to learn sign language after he went profoundly deaf because he was too stubborn to learn while he could still hear, and too stupid to keep his ears and his hearing aid clean and to wash his hands before handling the hearing aids.
You sound like an intelligent guy. There a plenty of very successful and intelligent deaf people. The Deaf Community in your area will be happy to teach you sign language and to befriend you and help you learn to live a relatively normal life in spite of your hearing problem.
Best wishes to you. I know you’ll do fine.

I understand how you feel, but if you want to hear properly you need hearing aids.
It really is as simple as that!!

Aw!
I’m in the same situation. I am 16, and have been wearing hearing aids for 3 years. Seriously, you’ve nothing to be ashamed about. I wear glasses, too! It doesn’t mean we’re freaks, they’re aids, they HELP us. Who cares what people think? We have problems and we deal with them however we want, we’re normal, and we always know how to handle these situations. For me, l make sure my earpiece where the glasses go are thin so it slips in between my hearing aids, and cover them with my hair. Don’t worry, you’ll be fine, you could wear contact lenses if your REALLY uncomfortable.
