confused about hearing aids?

It’s pretty much because health insurances thinks that if you have one your hearing is better. there is no need to have 2. however if your hearing gets worse in your left and your right is getting to where your left is now they will take that into consideration and prob. will give you another one than. Just make sure you get your hearing checked at least once a yr (lots of hearing loss can be lessened with in a yr)..
My mom is partially deaf in one and her other one she had a mini stroke in and completely deaf in. My uncle is almost 70 and is extremely hard of hearing in both.. his insurance will only pay for one right now.. has to wait 2 yrs for another one if he needs one..
