I am on a fixed income, and am completely deaf in one ear and partially in the other. I can not afford hearing aids on my own. Can anyone help me?

Contact your state’s Department of Human Services.

There are many local organizations that do assist persons with lower incomes in purchasing/obtaining hearing aids. I would recommend contacting your local Lions Club as they are the most prominent in most communities.
Also Healthy Hearing (http://www.healthyhearing.com) is an online consumer resource for persons with hearing loss and who wear hearing aids. They provide free consumer guides - one which is a comprehensive funding guide broken down by state and national organizations that assist persons in purchasing hearing aids. I highly recommend visiting the following section on their website to obtain that funding guide:.
