Need to find assistant or charity for people to get hearing aids?
Linda asked:
I work with low to no income adults, who insurance does not cover hearing aids.Or they do not have insurance. An they can’t afford to buy them. Anyone know of help I can direct them to for help.

Try the local Department of Social Services or Lions Club. Good luck!

I’m not sure I understand the wording of the question, but I know my grandmother and I both are in the predicament of being low-income and underinsured (insurance won’t cover hearing aids and she won’t wear hers and I can’t get them because of the cost otherwise but do need them (am very hard-of-hearing)). I am looking into the Starkey Fund, which I recently heard about. If it is an adult or young adult who is of college/working/school age trying to transition to work, school-work, Voc. Rehab. might be a source of assistance. Is that what you are asking?
