I am an audiologist and have several patients who are young. With the newborn hearing screenings more infants have hearing aids. There are so many new styles for children and teens. You should have a regular audiologist that you see. Now that you’re an adult you won’t have all the assistance you had as a child. You have to be your own advocate. If you need financial assistance purchasing new aids check with your state Vocational Rehabilitation. I’ve fit several working adults with nice hearing aids paid for with state funding. Good luck!
