can i join the usmc even tho i have 70% of my hearing and wear hearing aids?

I’m sorry to say that your friend was right. You can’t join because of your hearing. Being a marine requires perfect sight and hearing along with the other physical requirements. Its the same with the army. You can join, but you can not do combat.
