what do people hear when not wearing a hearing aid?

In grade 6 a student had hearing problems and came in with a tape that showed us how he hears without his hearing aid, now in college i need to see if i can find a demonstration like this for a project is there anywhere on the web i can find this?
looking for a site that demonstrates this.

Nothing, or very muffled sound. Imagine having good vision with glasses, and then taking them off.

When you have glasses you are unable to see things sooner (or closer) than people without gases begin to not be able to see the same thing. Hearing without a hearing aid is the same thing, They begin to not be able to hear something at a closer distance than a person with normal hearing would begin.
