If someone doesnt do good on the hearing test, Can they try to join again but with a different branch?

Also, which branch is it possible to go in with a hearing loss with no past history of hearing aids?

Advice on the best software

The medical portion of MEPS is for all branches. The records are kept on file at MEPS. The same MEPS station is used for all branches, so you cannot hide that you were there before.

This is the standard for all 5 branches-
Current hearing threshold level in either ear greater than that described below is disqualifying:

(1) Pure tone at 500, 1000, and 2000 cycles per second for each ear of not more than 30 decibels (dB) on the average, with no individual level greater than 35 dB at those frequencies.

(2) Pure tone level not more than 45 dB at 3000 cycles per second or 55 dB at 4000 cycles per second for each ear.

(3) There is no standard for 6000 cycles per second.

Current or history of hearing aid use (V53.2) is disqualifying.

sorry but if you failed a your hearing test no branch will allow you in..it’s very important that you have very good hearing.you need to be able to hear orders given when you are in the worst of the worst situations..plus you need to be able to hear over their radios and such..i’m sorry that you can’t do what you would like to..but i do thank you for wanting to serve..
